The suspended vehicle with tethered cargo and compliant tires can impact an obstruction such as a guardrail.
Features:
- at t=0 the vehicle drops a short distance to stabilize the suspension. That short response will show up in the acceleration plot.
- the obstruction (guardrail) can be hit head on or at a user given angle
- the height is user given
- at low heights the vehicle will likely bounce over it
- low speeds the vehicle may bounce back
- at higher heights the vehicle may flip over it
- it will have a "brittle" break at a user given load
- the vehicle CG is given as a reference and can be compared to the obstruction height
