XL4Sim™ is a collection of online engineering simulation tools for easy and quick analyses and simulations. All solution methods and data are from the public domain with references given in most cases.


Some of the early modules are MS Excel® based using the Microsoft® OneDrive Excel® Embed feature. Hence the name of this website. You do not need Excel® to use the calculators. They are accessed from the web page.


The more recent modules are web browser based and built with the help of ChatGPT. That has enabled some additional functionality. As I built the various modules I continued to learn the nuances of Chat. The later modules are a bit cleaner. They all have the correct functionality.


New simulations are continuously being added or updated as I find time and interest to work on this.


The modules have been tested to at least a first level with "normal" cases. There may be limiting conditions where they misbehave.

I am not an expert website builder expert. But I am an advocate of simple is better. I prefer minimalist pages. You will not see ad banners or elements that do not add value to the page. I do not have cookies installed. The links are to other pages and elements on this site and nowhere else.


I also like flat websites. You are only 2 clicks away from the meat on this site.


These have been built using the MS Edge browser. I have not tried them on all of the other browsers. They have been designed on my laptop screen. I have not specifically designed them for smaller screens.
