Natural Convection Heat Sink With Fins



Features:


The user inputs the plate width, height and thickness.

A material is selected from Aluminum, Copper, FR4, Steel and Silicone.

An ambient temperature is given.

Heat sources with the individual heat loads can be mouse drawn on the grid.

Finned areas can also the drawn on the grid area with fin height, thickness and spacing given.

Solve generates a temperature contour plot.

A mouse probe feature enables the user to click the grid at any point and the location and temperature are listed.
